Incwala Day, also referred to as The Festival of First Fruits, is a national holiday in the small African kingdom of Eswatini. The Incwala festival occurs at the summer solstice, which is known as midsummer day. In the Southern Hemisphere, summer solstice can fall anywhere from 20 to 23 of December. Easter is regarded as the most important holy day by Christians, and in Eswatini it is celebrated with two holidays on Good Friday and Easter Monday. And Ascension Day is a holiday in Eswatini to commemorate Jesus Christ’s ascension to heaven as recorded in the Bible. It is observed on the fortieth day of Easter - 39 days after Easter Sunday - and always fall on a Thursday.
