08.00 Arrive at Narita International Airport, Japan (local time is 2 hours ahead of Thailand. The oldest Buddhist temple in the Kanto region, Asakusa Temple (SENSOJI TEMPLE) Pay homage and ask for blessings from the golden Kannon statue, which is made of bronze and is only 5.5 centimeters in size. Take a souvenir photo with Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate), which has a giant red lantern that is 4.5 meters high and is the largest lantern in the world. Choose to see and rent sacred amulets from this temple.
Take everyone to see the greatness of the Great Buddha (Kamakura Daibutsu or The Great Buddha), the most important Buddha statue in Kamakura, located in Kotokuin Temple. The Great Buddha is 13.35 meters high and weighs 121 tons. It is the second largest Buddha statue in Japan, after the Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple in Nara.
