AirAsia Zest passengers are permitted to take one and a personal item into the cabin. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead storage and/or under the seat in front of passengers.

The maximum weight of AirAsia Zest carry-on items is 7kg (15 lb), and the maximum dimensions are 56cm x 36cm x 23cm (22 n x 14 in x 9 in)

The airline originally serviced scheduled international on domestic route between Manilla and Cebu. In 2013 the airline became an affiliate of Philippines AirAsia and latermerged with AirAsia Philippines in 2016. Philippines AirAsia (or AirAsia Incorporation and formerly known as AirAsia Philippines until 2015) is a low cost airline based in metro Manila, Philippines, at Ninoy Aquinto International Airport. Philippines AirAsia is a Philippine affiliate of AirAsia, a low-cost airline based in Malaysia.
